1. What we collect
We collect the information you give us — your name, email, phone, city, the role you apply for, your CV and any documents you upload, and the answers you provide in application or onboarding forms. We also collect basic technical data (such as login timestamps) needed to run and secure the platform.
2. How we use it
We use your information to review applications, manage engagements and tasks, communicate with you, deliver work to the relevant business, and keep the platform secure. We do not sell your personal data.
3. Files and storage
Uploaded files (such as CVs) are stored on our managed cloud storage and are accessible only to authorised Safari team members through authenticated links — the underlying storage URLs are never exposed publicly.
4. Sharing
We share your information only as needed to operate the Service: with the business you are engaged with, and with service providers who help us run the platform (for example hosting, email, and authentication). These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.
5. Sign-in with Google
If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic profile (name, email, profile photo) to create or match your account. We request only the access we need and never post anything on your behalf.
6. Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal or operational requirements. You can ask us to delete your data, subject to any records we must retain.
7. Security
We protect your data with access controls, encryption of sensitive credentials, and rate limiting. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information and to limit who can access it.
8. Analytics on our public pages
On our public pages — the homepage, the hiring pages, and application forms — we use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site: which pages are viewed, the approximate location and device, and the source that referred you. Google processes this on our behalf, and you can opt out of it in any browser with Google’s official opt-out add-on. We do not run analytics on the signed-in platform screens.
